Welcome to HCHS

Opening it's doors in August of 2022 the Hamburg Charter High School offers a new approach to the high school experience.

Students are enrolled in traditional high school classes as well as classes in the trades, and complete paid internships in their chosen field of study.  Students have several areas of study that they can choose from:  construction trades, culinary arts, health occupations, welding, automotive repair, technology, design, accounting and business, or they can choose to take college classes.  At the end of their time at Hamburg Charter High School students will graduate with a high school diploma and an associate degree.

Construction trades students learn first hand from professionals in the industry.  Homes that are built in the construction trades program are gifted to families in the community.

Students spend Monday, Wednesday, and Friday working in their trade or attending college classes.

Wildcat welding students take on fabrication jobs in the community.  Recently students have designed, welded and installed the railing at the new bank, Arbor Bank, on Main Street in Hamburg.

The culinary arts program prepares students to enter jobs in hospitality.  Students cater events, compete in cooking competitions in the area, complete custom cake orders, and work in the Big Blue Cafe located in downtown Hamburg, and more.
